Pedernal is a collection of screen prints, produced with iron ink on flint paper. The text liberates and reorders the words that in the 12th century were the motto of Madrid:
'I was built upon water, my walls are made of fire'
The phrase first refers to the abundance of underground rivers, and then to the wall that surrounded the city. Built in flint, it gleamed like a lighter stone when struck by the iron tip of enemy arrows.

A collection of portraits reflecting disgusting, bad, terrible, cringe, awkward, terrific sentences said for a flirting purpose.
